DNA POWERPOINTS LINK

CHAPTER 8 POWERPOINT
Make a PowerPoint for Chapter 8 and include the following slides:
USE PICTURES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN YOUR POWERPOINTS!
SLIDE ONE: Title slide, include name, period and title (DNA POWERPOINT)
SLIDE TWO:  Make a slide on the structure of DNA (describe the structure and include a picture). Explain what a nucleotide is and label its parts (or show a picture labelling the part of a nucleotide).
SLIDE THREE: Explain the differences in RNA and DNA
SLIDE FOUR:  Make a slide on who discovered the structure of DNA
SLIDE FIVE:  Make a slide on DNA Replication  (what is it? where does it occur? what enzyme is used?)
SLIDE SIX:  Make a slide on Transcription (what is it? where does it occur? what enzyme is used?)
SLIDE SEVEN:  Make a slide on Translation  (what is it?  where does it occur?)
SLIDE EIGHT:  State the 3 different types of RNA and explain what one each does.
SLIDE NINE: Explain what are codons? and explain what are anticodons?) Provide pictures!
SLIDE TEN:  Make a slide on the entire process of translation (explain how mRNA is "read", the role of tRNA, the role of rRNA, and how are codons and anticodons involved.)
SLIDE ELEVEN:  Make a creative and fun slide showing a "cartoon" of DNA (Can be whatever you want it to be)
SLIDE TWELVE - SLIDE SIXTEEN:  Have fun and make 5 creative slides about whatever you would like to include about DNA.  Research interesting facts, or relate DNA to forensic science (or whatever you choose to do).  There are all sorts of interesting facts and famous court cases involving all sorts of forensic science with DNA.  Use some of these stories and fun facts for these slides.
